a saturday afternoon at golden hour wine

on a quiet corner in baldwin park you’ll find heather at golden hour wine. she offers delicious wines in a beautifully designed space that’s perfectly fit for staying and sipping. not only will you get a good glass or bottle you’ll also get a good history lesson on how special your drink of choice is, which i thoroughly enjoy.

when heather contacted me, she said she just wanted the place captured as she dreamed it would be used - the gathering table filled with food, wine and friends.

they ordered deli desires, invited a few regulars and we spent the afternoon enjoying the space with good wine and good food. it didn’t feel a bit like work. from the conversations to the sips of champagne in between shots and listening in on the beautiful stories behind the bottles on the table. i really enjoyed being a fly on the wall - capturing the laughter, the in-between moments, the conversations and the way people relax when gathered around a table. the laidback flow of this shoot allowed me to catch the way the light fell in the space, the shadows, the little details that they thoughtfully put into it all. i had such a good time shooting that i ended up hanging out for hours. i’m so thrilled to have gotten the chance to work with heather and corey. it’s shop like these that make orlando so special.

i hope these photos make you want to go and spend the afternoon at golden hour wine, you won’t regret it if you do.

xoxo,

jg
