in the studio : making daylight
after my photoshoot with kit, i wanted to play more with making an almost-daylight situation using studio lighting. thankfully my coworkers are the most photogenic and are always up for my little lighting experiments. so before i knew, we were at the studio i currently work at creating some of my favorite images! as you can see in the photo above, with me looking my truest self, i used one light and a curved reflector to create these looks. i kept the light high above the subject with the reflector often across it and just below it to make the light bounce all around.
it felt like when you are in elementary school learning how to mix paint colors. with a few tests and moving lights here and there, i was able to make a beautiful shade of light.
