product photography - little known goods
little known goods is an art and home decor shop based out of denver, co. i had the pleasure of meeting hillery a few years ago before she moved to denver. hillery is a gem of a lady and her work is simply beautiful. after she designed my logo, we talked about other ways we could work together. a week later two of her letterpress prints arrived and i was able to take some product photos for her website and social media. i was thrilled at the chance to make some fun and practical images of her amazing prints!
i set up shop in our apartment and used a studio blue backdrop that matched her brand colors. she wanted some fully lit and some with a little more shadow so i got to play with lighting, both natural and studio - love it when that happens! You can check out my reel below for a little recap!
i have grown to love the problem solving and playing that comes with product photography. being able to set the scene, make adjustments, find the light, and create diverse content that my clients will be able to use on multiple platforms is such a fun time (and even more fun when i’m left alone to tinker around at home 😌).
