in the kitchen at the neighbors - east end market

east end market is a local food hub at the heart of audubon park in orlando, florida. if you head upstairs you can find the neighbors - a neighborhood store with great cocktails, delicious food, and locally made goods.

east end has been a part of my days for years now. from stops for coffee at lineage, grabbing a sandwich from hinckley’s or going to domu for a late-night bite, i have a lot of memories here.

when chef leah asked me to step into the kitchen with her and her team to capture the life of the kitchen and the dishes she’s creating i immediately said yes.

as a photographer, my ideal working environment is when the client trusts me enough to let me do my thing and be a fly on the wall. i thoroughly enjoyed the energy of this small but mighty kitchen and wanted to have the images showcase the speed, attention to detail, and creativity involved in each dish. i thrive when i’m left to capture the organic moments that happen when artist’s are doing their thing, so being in this fast-paced space with talented people was an exciting thing to be apart of.

i’m so grateful to leah and the team for letting me get in the way for a little bit to capture the beautiful dishes they are cooking up in that kitchen.
