home office tour
hey there! i’m coming atcha live from my 36 square foot home office space in the corner of my apt.
i just thought i’d give a quick tour of where a majority of the ygl magic happens!
i don’t have a large space to work with, so staying organized is pretty important.
you can check out all the little pieces that make up my office below.
this little buddy has all my work from this year on it, so i use it on the daily and let the backups stay tucked away.
our whole home is filled with plants, so i had to leave some room on my desk for these sun-loving little buddies and my dried florals.
this little cart is from target a while back. i think it’s technically a bathroom cart but it’s the perfect home for my two trusty einsteins and extra cords. - also if you’re looking for lights, check fb marketplace! i got these for a steaaaal and the photographer barely used them.
i also bought this trash bin from ikea which is great for keeping all my stands, backdrop bar, and umbrella in order!
i guess i have a thing for bathroom carts. this one’s from ikea along with the bamboo containers. i needed something slim so it’s perfect for holding all my hard drives, extra bulbs, triggers, film, and lots of other little things.
the bag area. - there’s probably something else i can do with this little space but for now this has been working.
i’ve got three little drawers in this desk so that i can keep the necessities nearby. (i didn’t think my calculator from high school would be important to me now, but it really is.)
well, that’s pretty much my space. so when you book a session with me,
now you’ve got a pretty picture for where i’ll be getting to work after the shoot.
